Caring for Your New Guitar

Once your new guitar has arrived, as with all guitars there are a few do's & don'ts, they are as follows:

  • Do not expose your guitar to extreme temperatures or humidity as this could make the wood swell, contract, crack or warp

  • Do not polish the paintwork on your guitar

  • Do not expose the paintwork to any solvents or oil based products such as deodrants, moisturisers, cleaning products, etc.

  • When not in use keep your guitar in a gig bag or case, or alternatively position it securely on a guitar stand

  • Play your guitar as much as possible!  This will not only benefit you but will help develop the tone of your guitar
