One of the most innovative & diverse guitars we've ever seen - the Danelectro Pro is a must have for any guitarist!  SEE BELOW FOR REVIEWS

Described as 'beautifully quirky', this is the first ever re-issue of the guitar that first appeared back in 1963, when wacky shapes were the order of the day. And with the neck set so deep into the paddle shape Masonite body which means that the bridge is pushed right to the back of the body to keep the scale length correct, 'wacky' is definitely the word – especially when you check out the triangular-esque scratchplate design too!

Elsewhere on the guitar though, it's business as usual, with twin alnico-powered Lipstick® case pickups with warmer spec windings for a sweeter tone and slightly hotter output.
Plus there's a fully adjustable and intonatable chrome plated raised-tail bridge, and six adjustable, enclosed gear machines.
Choose the Pro and choose to stand out from the guitar crowd!
But don't just take our word on it, there have been so many positive reviews on this model it's unprecedented - see below

Danelectro Pro - Guitar & Bass Magazine's 2008 'Best Electric Guitar Under £500' Winner

"We were so excited about the Danelectro Pro that a couple of us actually disturbed the moths in our wallets & bought one.  It's cool, it's different, it's stuffed with classic sounds - & at this price, it's a stone cold bargainThe Pro is not a true reissue: this version has a 25" scale, master tone & volume, a 3-way switch, a re-designed headstock & individual bridge saddles for accurate intonation.  The layout means you'll struggle to reach beyond the 15th fret.  If that bothers you, simply buy the 59 or 63 model.  All the same, there's something special about the Pro.  Although the pickups are wound hotter than the vintage, they're cool enough to capture the natural sound of the guitar.  The bridge pickup will do raw blues, surfy twang, '60's garage punk & even Link Wray or Luther Perkins.  The neck pickup is chunky & woody but still super-clear, perfect for blues, jazz or country picking, & the famous in-series middle setting provides a hike in output & a gentle treble roll-off that's perfect for ballsy rock & slide.  But which colour - black, tan, peach, burgundy, blue, or aqua?  Danelectro, you're killing us." (Guitar & Bass Vol. 20 No 1)

Guitar Buyer Review

"There's plenty of kick from the neck pickup, making for a terrific slide tone...instant retro cool"

Total Guitar

"Of all the guitars in the Group Test this is the one that we couldn't put down.  We love the fact that this kooky plank looks like it was designed by a 50's guitarist...plug the guitar in & it sounds as good as it looks, no wonder Jimmy Page loved Danelectro guitars. 5/5"

Guitarist

"With the kind of biting treble that really evokes the edge of the seat bawl of early rock 'n' roll, add a little valve echo or slapback delay & it's surprising how fresh & exciting this type of old-school twang can sound - just listen to the likes of The Coral or Artic Monkeys for modern reference points"
